I did upgrade to Gaia 3.0.2 and found too annoying and counterproductive having to wait 15 seconds to do a "test project".
Please rethink the donate button implementation.   Wink

Oh heaven forbid that you have to wait 15 seconds to use something that will save you weeks and months of development time.

How about you:

A) Donate, which will effectively remove the delay.

or

B) Stop complaining and realize that every form of software or freeware incorporates a mechanism very similar to this. The fact is that your getting it free, so your argument is negated.

I have been using Gaia for about a year now and I agree that perhaps the donate 15 seconds is annoying but THAT IS THE POINT. If you rely on a product so much that the 15 seconds bothers you, maybe you just donate the 25 bucks.

Obviously this is a product that was not just slapped together. It saves many people thousands of dollars and all he is asking is $25 bucks. If you can't find $25 bucks to spend on something that saves you thousands then I don't know what to say.

If you're a casual user that is not getting paid for the projects then 15 seconds won't bother you. The product still works for FREE!

I would prefer this 15 seconds over a 30 day trial any day of the week!

So stop whining and support the community! Without donations there will probably not be any more Gaia development.

I'm absolutely OK with donate button if it is renamed to "Buy".
"Donate" doesn't seem appropriate. It's too forced.

Of course it is just me. And I'll buy gaia as soon as I'll get money for my first gaia project. I'm building it right now.

Gaia the open-source Actionscript framework is GPL.  The panel that leverages the Gaia framework source code is not.
