Hi all,

I'm having a problem trying to scaffold. Im running macosx an Flash CS3 with the latest Gaia Version 3.0.5
As soon as I try to scaffold any project (even a completely new one). Gaia says: can't find /lib/_SCAFFOLFD_.fla
Gaia keeps throwing this error all the time. I attached a png of the errror message: Sorry it's in german language.

Can anyone help. I Don't know what to do. I already uninstalled flash and Gaia and also deleted the Library files I found.

Hey steven,

thnaks for your respond. As show I edited the ObjectFindAndSelect.jsfl and added:
if (objTimeline == undefined) {
return
}

I also copied the GaiaScaffold.jsfl to the /commands directory.

But it doesn't really work. I still get an error.
The report that the file _SCAFFOLD_.fla ca't be found in the /lib directory

Just for your info: I don't have any files containing the word scaffold in the /lib directory

Thanks for your help!!

Gaia creates the __SCAFFOLD_.fla file during the scaffolding process and deletes it when finished.

I can't read German, so I don't know what the error is.

The file file://MacHD/Users/alexanderl/Desktop/testing/lib/_SCAFFOLD_.fla cannot be found.

I don't know what the issue is.  It might have something to do with localization.  Line 84 is copying a file from the template folder to scaffold FLA files from.

Is there a templates folder in the project folder?  Are there two files named ASpage.fla and TLpage.fla?

Both files can be found in the templates folder. I attached an image of the file structure and the files in the templated directory

Did it create __SCAFFOLD__.fla?

FYI, I haven't forgotten this issue, I just don't know what could be causing it.  Is the folder you're attempting to scaffold into on a network drive?  Not that I know this would cause an issue, I'm just trying to get more information.

The Gaia panel is simply using JSFL's native methods to copy files and move folders.  For some reason, these JSFL methods are failing on your machine.

hey steven,

thanks for your feedback. I'm not using a network drive for the project.
I'm now using anther machine to get work done. also a macbook running the same software. the constellation seems to be the same. Scaffolding works perfectly. I'm also able to use all other functions (publishing, etc.) on the first machine. Only the scaffolding process seems to cause problems. Thanks for your help with this great tool!
If you have any other hints let me know, of course I'd like to try them out.

Cheers
