massive scaffold problem

I haven't had any further problems. Sorry, I can't tell how I fixed it. I just setup everything new from the beginning and everything worked out fine for me.
Now I'm using the newest Gaia Version and Flash CS 4

so ive tried gaia out on different accounts on the same computer im having problems with, and its working just fine on any other user account. so..i suspect this is some kind of new permissions issue, or maybe a preferences conflicts.  i ran permissions diagnostic and repaired what came up, but it was unsuccessful in fixing the issues. gaia WAS working and then suddenly it stopped, and i made no changes to my system, so now im just confused. hoping to not have to migrate my entire system over to a new account... thanks for your reply. any further ideas?

I am also experiencing this problem - in CS3 on Leopard 10.5.8. I was only able to successfully create a scaffold the first time through, using the default site xml. Since then I've been banging my head against the wall. I've tried reinstalling the mxp several times, tried both AS2 as well as AS3 projects, and a few other things but I still get the error stating that it can't find the _SCAFFOLD.fla file.
I went in and added a few alerts in order to find out what's happening. The FLfile.copy() is simply not firing successfully.
Adding the alerts seems to have changed the error message. It now gives the cannot find SCAFFOLD.fla message in a different part of the code. It says there is an error:
At line 93 of "FLBridge_pump.jsfl": Cannot find the file file:///....

The only FLBridge file I can find is a bundle however.

In the short term,if I manually copy the template fla to the lib folder and name it _SCAFFOLD_.fla  after creating the project , everything else seems to work.

Please provide as much detail about your system as possible. Hardware version, software version, etc. I have posted this thread to Adobe, and it would he helpful if you can be specific.

Just to follow up, I didn't really get any further than creating the scaffold. As soon as I tested the project I got an 5007 error from a blank "NavPage.as" file and gave up.

I'm on a dual-core intel, 3ghz Mac Pro. Like I said, I'm running CS3 (version 9 according to my 'About') on Leopard 10.5.8.
I'm not sure what else would be relevant. 

Oh, and I was using Gaia Version 3.2.1, just downloaded earlier in the week.
