Hello everyone,

Sorry if this is a stupid question or if I've missed the answer in another post (I searched thoroughly first), but I'm a bit stuck here.  I would like to pass a deep link into my site as a flash var ("index/nav/ravioli", for example) and have the site go right to that page.  I'm using .NET for routing, so the user can to go products/ravioli.aspx or products/alfredo.aspx and a virtual page handles the content for users who don't have flash and for SEO.  If they do have flash however, I would like them to to right to the ravioli section.

I saw in this post http://www.gaiaflashframework.com/index.php/topic,132.0.html that at one point there was an unsupported flashvar called "deeplink", but that seems to have been removed.  I poked around in GaiaMain.as and found another one called "branch", but that doesn't seem like what I need.

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be fantastic.  Let me know if I can provide any helpful information.

Thanks everyone!

branch is the FlashVar you're speaking of. This will force the page to go to that branch.

So in the HTML FlashVars

branch="index/nav/ravioli"

Thank you so much, I've got this working now.  I had tried branch before, but there were some other problems keeping goto from working, so I incorrectly thought it wasn't the proper way to handle this.

I have been searching for this FlashVar and was hoping that it might already be implemented in one way or another.
Charming to see that it is indeed.

Thank you so much Steven.
