Gaia Framework for Adobe Flash v3.2.0
Release Date: 01.10.2010

You need the Adobe Extension Manager to install the mxp file.
http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/

The Gaia 3.x panel works with Flash CS3 and CS4.  Flash 8 is no longer supported.

Safari Users: Right-click and Save As.

Important Installation Notes
  • 1. Save the MXP file to your desktop first and then open it.  Do not choose "Open" from the browser as some people have reported failed installs when they do this.
  • 2. Close Flash and trash the previous Gaia installation before installing the new version.  The Adobe Extension Manager can be buggy when updating a component that is already there.
  • 3. You must delete your ASO files before scaffolding your first project with a new version of Gaia, or after updating an existing project fiolder with a new version of Gaia.  It's in the top menu under Controls > Delete ASO Files.
  • 4. After you delete your ASO files, make sure you republish all the Flash files in your project after updating to a new version of Gaia.
  • 5. You should also delete your browser's cache before testing your first project in the browser with a new version of Gaia, or after updating an existing project with a new version of Gaia.

3.2.0 Overview
Gaia 3.2.0 updates to the latest 3rd party packages, including TweenLite, SWFAddress, and DeMonsterDebugger. In addition, I fixed a bug that was preventing page swfs from potentially not unloading correctly, and a bug with SoundGroup when using fadeTo() without a callback.  Also fixed a bug in the panel where the FlashDevelop and Flex Builder checkboxes were still visible on a created project.

Greensock Tweening Platform 11.131
The TweenLite family of classes underwent a major overhaul between the last version and this one. When you update an existing Gaia project, the new greensock class packages are added to your project folder, but none of the project's classes will be modified. You will have to do this yourself.  The API itself is backwards compatible, so you can do a Find and Replace for "import gs." and replace it with "import com.greensock." and that should cover it for most users.  If you have accessed any files beyond these, the architecture has changed and you will need to account for these changes on a case by case basis.

SWFAddress 2.4
Gaia has been updated to the latest version of SWFAddress 2.4.

DeMonster Debugger 2.5.1 (AS3)
DeMonster Debugger has been updated from version 2.0.4 to 2.5.1.
