We are currently working on Temple 3.0.0 which has much less dependencies as the current version.

I can't give you any date (at the moment) when this version will be released. So follow us on Twitter, we will post it as soon as it is available.

Using the CacheLoader of Temple 3.0.0 will only add 20k to your SWF. So this is a significant reduction.
