Hey there !

This is my first post on this forum, so firstly : thanks for this amazing Framework  Smiley

I discovered Gaia on Flash CS4, and it works great ! But recently, I upgrated on Flash CS5 and I have a major problem :
I can not test my project ! When I click on the button, the pop-up of publication is showed but it disappears immediately. And there is no windows out-put !

I don't have any problem when compiling a simple fla... So actually, I compile each fla individually... it's a bit long  Tongue
I used Flash CS5, Gaia 3.2.3, FlashPlayer 10.1 and Mac OS X 10.6.4

I looked for an issue on this forum, but I have found nothing...

Please, help !

P.S. excuse me for my bad english, I'm french Grin

I do not currently own Flash CS5 for Windows or Mac. I don't plan on purchasing it for a few months and my trial periods have expired,  so some CS5 users may have issues for the time being.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your wonderful and useful framework ...
I'm really newbee and Gaia seems indispensable and complementary tool to learn flash and actionscript ...
Simply, I have the same problem with the CS5 ...
I can't test the project ...
there is no error message but nothing happens on the screen ...

During installation,

"3 -You must delete your ASO files before scaffolding your first project with a new version of Gaia, or after updating an existing project fiolder with a new version of Gaia. "

What is ASO files ?

" It's in the top menu under Controls > Delete ASO Files."

Where is this ?

Excuse me for my bad english and thank you for all....

Hi!
I didn't get errors of any kind, I found that if I select a few pages to publish, only the first one really is been published although no window out-put is shown, so then I deselect all pages and try test project again, this time opens the window and now I can see the out-put. strange is'nt it?

bye!

You're saying the error log is empty?

I was having this problem. Win 7 + Flash CS5 but managed to fix it.

Make sure that in your publish tab you've synced your site xml. Turns out I had an old file in there and of course it wouldn't publish as it was physically deleted, that was causing the publish to fail.

Windows 7 + Flash CS5 here... Having the same problem. If I select only one file and test the project it works. As soon as I select multiple files, only the first selected will be exported. Would be nice to see a solution for this problem soon. Love this framework!

I just tested it on both platforms and it works for me. There was an issue with Flash panels in general, and they recently released an update. Are you sure you're running the most recent version of Flash CS5? Make sure you upgrade.
