Hi there,

when automatically creating FD projects, you should set the classpath to src (source folder), not the project directory.
When creating a new class, it now always has the 'src.' in it. The obvious fix for this is changing the classpath to 'src'.

Greets,

Patrice

I am literally copying/renaming the default project file that FlashDevelop creates for a project when you create it in FlashDevelop. I'm not writing their project xml on the fly.

The FlashDevelop project file that FlashDevelop creates when you make a new project is sufficient.

You can easily modify the as3proj file inside: C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS4\en\Configuration\GaiaFramework
Check the correct path as it may vary in different enviroment settings, such as language.

Just remember to update it if a new Gaia version is installed, or the file structure is changed by the Flashdevelop team.

Excellent tip, Ramiro!

Yes, if you want to use your own "customized" FlashDevelop.as3proj file, you can modify the file that Gaia copies over for all projects. Smiley
